# Redaction API

Redact sensitive data elements from text strings and files.

## Authentication

All requests require an API key in the `x-api-key` header:

x-api-key: <your-api-key>
```

## Base URL

```
https://api.scanner.<deployment>.teleskope.ai
```

Replace `<deployment>` with the deployment name for your environment. Your Technical Account Manager can provide this.
